Thank you for considering Aranui Primary School for your child’s education. We recognise that you place a tremendous trust in us to support your child academically, emotionally and physically. We believe that we create a secure and happy atmosphere where you, your child and your family will feel welcomed and valued in our school community.

Aranui School has a long history of having a warm family atmosphere since it was opened in 1911. We are keenly aware of the challenges that face our children in the modern environment and we strive to use research based educational practise. An important part of the family atmosphere is the home/school/student partnership. We encourage three way communication and urge you to contact us to discuss any matters of interest in the same way that we will contact you.

This communication assists us to work with you to nurture your children and help them to learn to their potential. Our environment seeks to support and challenge while treating each other with respect and consideration.

Please take time to read this booklet as it is designed to provide information about our school. Please feel free to come and discuss any issues with your child’s teacher or with me.
