A child’s school life is greatly enriched by a family that is well informed and active in school affairs. To ensure that parents are well informed about class and school events APS sends home regular parent notices and fliers from the teaching staff, the school office, and the administration.
There may, however, be times when you may feel uninformed or unsure about events within your child’s classroom or the school. Should you, as a parent, have a concern directly related to your child or any other student, staffing or community issue, the school requests you to approach the point of first concern, which is likely to be your child’s teacher or the school office. To avoid disruptions to classroom programmes, the school requests you to first make an appointment with the concerned person by telephoning the school office.
